The images herein document the evolution and devolution of an algorithmic program that generates digital images of paintings of a subject that I prefer not to touch. They depict a kind of artificial intelligence in one sense, and fake news in another. While the machine and algorithm work tirelessly, proliferating nearly infinite visual variations; the thousands and thousands of by-product pixel matrices remain flat, forgettable and utterly valueless.
