The surrealistic work created by Giulia Furlan (IT 1991) is a short animation based on the concept of metamorphosis.
Absence and Presence has been realized during the lockdown and narrates an intimate relationship in which two-hybrid characters merge into a single entity until they disappear. The bodies of the two characters are liquid, a dimension that characterizes the contemporary and evokes resilience. As a hymn to the creative force, the work suggests fluidity and flexibility, imagined by the artist as the ideal conditions of today's life.
